まず初めは管理者父親です。
他界しておりますが、１９６０年代米国のシカゴに、公費留学を６年間しておりました。
正式には在福外国人ではないのですが、１９６０年代の米国では完全に外国人でした。
まだ、在福外国人の撮影が進んでいない為の救済策です。身内の紹介で失礼します。
渡米時、まだ米国に日本人留学生は少なく、父はとても苦労したそうです。
当初はまったく英語が話せませんでした。それにも関わらず米国人宅に１人ホームステイしていた為、食事時は地獄だったそうです。
話すのが苦痛だったので、最初の１年間はほとんど部屋から出られなかったそうです。
下の絵は父が６年間下宿していた家の絵です。ホストファミリーのお父さんは
絵が趣味で、父が帰国する際いただいたのだとか。
抱いているのは姉です。姉も１年程、母とシカゴ暮らしをしていたそうです。その頃は東アジア人の子供は珍しく、姉はどこへ行っても大人気だったそうです。あまりに人気なので、父は実家から七五三の着物を送ってもらい、姉に着せシカゴの街中を一緒に歩いたそうです。
いつも嬉しそうに自慢しておりました。
